When I find I am having a dry spell I will order more books and deliver them to new homes, also I advertise online, I live in Vancouver and when its raining I spend more time marketing on those days, I am new to Avon and loving it but still trying to build a clientale. I am also looking for new ways to better my sales...when the warmer weather starts there tends to be alot of people Garage Saleing and I am going to have an Avon Open House, I will try it a couple times and see where that gets me. I would love ideas from others on this topic as well...anyone have anything to help us new reps?

Ask your current clients for referrals.

Here's a great strategy to increase your customer base, which in turn will increase your sales. The concept of "10/20/30".

Have your current customers help you find new customers and reward them for their efforts. Offer the following to your current customers, if they find you:

1 new customer with a minimum order of $30; give them 10% discount on their order.

2 new customers with a minimum order of $30 each; give them a 20% discount on their order

3 new customers with a minimum order of $30 each; give them a 30% discount on their order.

If you presently have 20 customers and each one of them finds you 1 new customer with a minimum order of $30, that is 20 new customers and you have just generated an extra $600 in sales!!!!

Now imagine if they find you 2 new customers with a minimum order of $30. That is 40 new customers and you have just generated an extra $1200 in sales!!!!

Now imagine if they find you 3 new customers with a minimum order of $30. That is 60 new customers and you have just generated an extra $1800 in sales!!!!

The increase in sales will guarantee you 40% (or even 50%) discount on your costs, which will more than cover the discount that you will give to your present customers.
